Busy like a Bee

Okay fine, i’m not thaaaat busy.

Well, my life is just so full of activity for the past few weeks. Travelling, hanging out with friends and relatives, shopping, packing (yes i’m still packing although it has been a month). Oh not forgetting the World Cup too, that has been keeping me quite occupied.

*Burps* ooops! Clearly it’s because of too many durians :)

You know, i’m quite disappointed Germany didn’t win the World Cup this year. When they got knocked out by the Spaniards, i felt like killing myself – yes, i was thaaaat upset! But well, they got 3rd place. So, I’m still proud of them, i have been supporting this team since i was 12 and will continue to support them till the end. And i’m pleased to see that Brazil and Argentina didn’t make it this far this time around. Hehehehe... ahhh i just cant wait to see them again in 2014 and more importantly, i hope i can watch it with him. This year’s world cup is special coz it is with him i’m watching.

12 days more... and seriously, i still cant believe i’m going to Switzerland... One minute i’ll be lazing on the bed and the next i’ll be like “oh Shit, i’m going to Switzerland alone!” and no, i’m not being dramatic. You see, I’ve not travelled to anywhere alone in my entire life, i hope it isn’t complicated. How nice if i have a companion. Sigh....

阿忠烧鸡翼
This is the best siu kai yik i've ever tasted. The skin is so crispy, the meat is so juicy and it's so nicely marinated that i can faint! It's Ah Zhong Chicken Wings @ Taman Muda, Ampang Cheras just opposite Paragon Mall.

This siu kai yik got featured in the show called '1day 5 meals' too!

Dinner with the family @Restaurant Siu Siu. Located at Robson Height, Kuala Lumpur. Very near to Kuan Cheng Girl School.
The dish above is friend pork intestines. I fell in love with this dish at that instant.



This Char Siew is another recommended dish. This definitely took me by surprised. Not too sweet and just the right amount of fat meat.



This claypot curry butter prawn is absolutely fantastic! This has gotta be the best dish of the day. They serve along 'man tau' bun for you to dip into the curry. I must go back for more of this!



Salted Egg Crab? Direct translation. Hehe.
Well, this is not too bad either. Very huge crabs with very very sweet flesh. They gave damn alot of salted egg, made my mummy very happy :) And surprisingly, it's not thaaat expensive. Just Rm38.

Enjoyed my dinner so much here @Restaurant Siu Siu. If only i knew this place earlier, i would eat here every weekend. Yes, it's thaaaaaaaaat nice!




Met up with Nadia at our traditional yum char place. Wont be seeing her for the next two years or so coz she might be going to UK when i get back. I miss you Nad!



Dinner with the girls @TwoTwoOneNine. I'm going to miss eating sushi here with you guys :(



Watching World Cup at my place with him. World cup made me put on weight :( U know, munching Ramlee burgers... Takoyaki... Longan & Lychee syrup... Seedless grapes... Haihhhh...



Went up to Ipoh recently. You know it's a must for me to eat Ipoh's delicacies or else i wouldnt go with a peaceful mind :P Hehehe. Anyway, the dish above is Taugeh Chicken. I miss dipping the chicken slices and its gravy into my noodles. The combination of these is brilliant!



This sotong kangkung is different than the usual ones... very smooth sauce made using pumpkin and other ingredients. And i'm gonna miss it.



Had supper with Alex, Fabian and bf @Tong Sui Kai.



Head on to Adrian's house to watch World Cup 3rd & 4th placing.

The next morning, jermyn's mum brought me to Tai Shi Keok. We ordered 3 different kinds of drinks, Red bean, Passion fruit and i dont know whats the last one. Green bean? Well, it tasted exactly like the Red bean.



Because we waited sooooo long for the fried stuff, we ordered poppiah.



That's my bee's expression when i didnt allow him to order Char Koay Teow.



And so they finally arrived. I will not come back here again because nothing special lor, except the friend triangle fish meat.



We spotted this @Tai Shi Keok. Caster Eggs or Custard? It's like they caster the eggs with some spells :D


The very same day, we went to Adrian's house for a gathering and also to celebrate Alex's birthday. Managed to capture this while we were on our way.



The bunch of us that night. Damn, Alex your face damn freaky!



The next day, we ate Char Koay Teow because Kafe Macy tarak buka. And this was his expression when he gets to eat CKT. Very obedient.



This CKT is not the dry type la but very nice :)



That night we went out for supper again with Fabian, Alex and Jermyn @Tong Sui Kai but different stall. The mixed fruits with shaved ice very nice hor?



The next day, it was time for me to say goodbye to ipoh and Brandy. I love her to bits.

Reached his aunt's house and found another puppy! Too bad i wont be able to see him grow up :(



So smooth la his fur and he's soo cute. Like a soft toy.
