Loving the Holidays

The ending of my two months contract in Citibank marks the beginning of another episode of my holidays... So, i have roughly 3 more months here before flying off to Switzerland. Damn, 3 months seem really long (knowing the fact that i wont be getting any income) and short (knowing the fact that i only have 3 months left to spend time with my lovelies)

Working in Citibank wasn’t that bad. Pretty relaxing, especially if you have a partner there who shares lots of common topic with ya *wink* We would chat all day long even if our superiors were just in front of us. I guess she was the only one whom i could connect pretty well with, probably because she’s only a year older than me. Damn, i really miss those tea-times too where we would hang out and buy fruit juices/frappes from San Francisco. They’re quite worth it especially during their promotional periods, ‘buy 1 free 1’ and 40% discount for all juices and smoothies. I guess working there wouldn’t be this fun without her :)

Anyway, I’ve gone up to Ipoh again last weekend with Jermyn to celebrate his dad’s birthday. Spent the entire weekend with his family and then drove back to KL on Monday. Have u ever tried eating durians while driving? Well i had and we’ve done it so many times, i think it has become our routine. We love buying food from Ipoh like their Kangkung Sotong, durians and would even stop by the R&R’s for their Kacang Rebus. My darling would feed me while i drive and sometimes we would stop by some R&R’s to catch a 10 minutes sleep. Simply blissful :)

Apart from that, we’ve caught so many movies but i didn’t have the time to blog.

2 months ago we caught Alice in Wonderland. Honestly i wanted to love this movie. I’m not sure if it was the director or the script, it has failed to meet my expectations in some ways. I think Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) and the Red Queen(Helena) were the only characters that kept this movie alive. Alice’s character was so dull and wooden that i wished Cheshire Cat would give her a slap.

Clash of the Titans was just an average action movie that doesn’t deserve my 10bucks! I’m still wondering, why isn’t Pegasus white in this film???

How to train your dragon, was simply lovely from the beginning to the end :) Beautifully written scripts, it didn’t have stupid lines whatsoever, great animations. Everything about this piece is aesthetically beautiful. Oh, lovely dragon btw. I don’t know is it just me or what but i notice Toothless( the dragon) bear a resemblance to Stitch from Disney movie Lilo & Stitch, probably because of the eyes, nose and ears.

Next up, Ip Man 2 and Iron Man 2. I’m more enthusiastic to watch Ip Man 2 actually, heard it’s bloody fantastic.

From left: Sue Wei, myself and See See. Having lunch at Secret Recipe.
Sigh, i miss them :(

Everyone, this is the morning view that greeted me every single morning while i walked to citibank from petronas twin tower. I didnt mind the distance despite wearing heels as i enjoyed the cool air and thats d only exercise i get for the rest of the day.

The view from 44th floor pantry.

my partner in TSC dept. Damn i miss her..

Was having dinner with Jermyn at Little Penang before heading to PC Fair.

Walking back after pc fair.

At Tenji Japanese Buffet with college mates. I still prefer Pyramid's Shogun. Tenji ain't that great, not worth my RM102! But i dont care la, as long as we get to meet up.

Managed to meet up with them before their internship. We sooo have to meet up again.. as u can see, Collie is missing in this picture :(

Went to The Laundry Bar after our buffet. So hot i cannot tahan, so we went back early.

Oh i bought a new digi cam. Still not very sure of how to use. Not many people to camwhore with :(

First manicure session! No $$$ :( So cant do fancy stuff :(

Base on the previous picture, can you identify who did which manicure design?
